The Launch of Snap Shot Flask!

Have you ever had an idea that you wanted to bring to life? Have you ever thought of an invention you thought could sell? Have you ever wanted to run a small business? Have you ever felt like it was time to invest more in yourself?

I am writing this article after having answered yes to all of those questions a little more than a year ago.

I am finally at the launching of my first product, the Snap Shot Flask, and I am feeling grateful for an educational experience I know no school could provide.

When beginning this journey, I had no background in manufacturing. I had no experience in the patent process, plastic compounds, FDA compliance, extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, 3D design and drafting, 3D printing (SLA or FDM), corporate tax filing, corporate structures, small business banking, Amazon distribution standards, website building, URL purchasing, online advertising, promotional video production, product pricing, logo design, product packaging or even writing a blog article...

Now, I have experience in all of these areas and more.

All to bring a plastic flask to market?

Yes. All to bring an idea to life. From firing neurons to mass-manufacturing.

I don't write this to brag. Keep in mind, at the moment I write this I have not made a single dollar. It has taken all of this just to have an item to sell. Often, it has felt that the more that I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I write this to hopefully encourage someone else to take the leap in their life that they've been on the fence about. I write this to give you insight into my mind and my goals and to hopefully encourage you to invest in me by purchasing my creation.

Life, to me, is not about the destination, but is instead about the journey itself. That being said, life is also about effort, intention and growth.

My goal is not only financial success, though it is the cornerstone of any business, but to better understand the engine of our society: our economy. How we decide to engage in our economy determines the structure of our society itself. What do you spend your money on? Who do you give your money to? My bet is that investing in each other is the best way to control our future as a society.

So here it is, my honest-to-God best effort at bringing this idea to life:

Snap shot flask is a 500ml plastic flask that is BPA free, dishwasher safe and recyclable. It has two shot glasses that snap off and on. It features a semi transparent bottle with measurement markers on the side of the bottle and interior of the shot glasses to ensure you know how much (and what) you are drinking. It is manufactured and assembled in the USA (NJ/PA). It is designed for practical (and safe) social drinking. It is ideal for tailgates, pre-games, beach trips, hiking trips, concerts and more.

The patented function and design has applications in numerous other industries and styles, which I look forward to releasing in the future.
